Fall Book Sale

October 20th-21st

Fall 2023 is coming soon and Hubbard Friends of the Library invites everyone to their Annual Fall Book Sale!

The Friends Fall Book Sale will be Friday and Saturday, October 20 and 21, 10 am-4 pm, and located in the Hubbard Public Library’s first floor meeting rooms. In addition to books, audiobooks, CDs and DVDs, select handmade items will be available; including handmade “Dewey the Bookworm” bookmarks and more.  Best of all, this special sale will be, both days, “bring and fill your own bag” for only $5.00 per bag!  What a beautiful way to celebrate fall, and books, and the Library and stock up for fall and winter reading!

As always, all proceeds from this October Book Sale go to Hubbard Friends of the Library and, in turn, all proceeds to Friends benefit the beautiful Hubbard Public Library, its programs and activities. Be sure to stop in and ‘check-out’ the many new programs and resources at HPL, including the “Permanent StoryWalk®;” Outdoor Musical Instruments (three Sunflower Petal Drums);” the Sensory Path; the award-winning “Toy Lending Library;” the “Library of Things” from which patrons can borrow telescopes, solar cooking ovens, portable exercise equipment, ukuleles, traffic cones; and more.  New resources to explore “Beyond HPL’s Walls” also include the awning and Pebble Harp in the Sensory Garden.  Thank you for your continued and ongoing support of Friends and this community’s unique and beyond-amazing Hubbard Public Library!  For more information and/or if you have any questions, please contact cshirtzel@gmail.com.  “THRIVING LIBRARIES = THRIVING COMMUNITIES”
