And with winter at our doorstep, what better time to begin an indoor garden? Scientific studies have shown that plants improve air quality, making breathing easier. Plants also remove air pollutants, so we feel and heal better. It has been proven that plants lower blood pressure and speed up recovery from illness. Are you a plant person? Do you talk to your plants? Do you listen to them? According to Tyler Welsh from Dublin Indoor Gardeners, DIG, being a good plant parent means watching and listening to your plants. They will let you know if they are getting enough light or too much water. In this informative one-hour course, Welsh covers all the basics, such as light, water, and soil, plus he gives valuable tips on helping your plants thrive. This course covers a wide range of topics, from the basics of plant structure, to fighting off pestiferous bugs! So, brighten your day and your home with house plants!
