Upcycled Zippered Pouch

Primary tabs

Now is the time to get that sewing machine out of the closet, dust it off, and bring it to the Hubbard Public Library.

We have an expert seamstress, Marlene Piccolin, coming to give a STEP-BY-STEP tutorial on how to make the simple, yet adorable pouches.

Do you need a personalizes gift or just want to make a cute pouch while learning tips and tricks on a sewing machine?

In this program, you will learn how to use a sewing machine to make straightforward projects. If you don't have a sewing machine to bring, never fear, we will have plenty here to work on.

List of supplies:

- Favorite bag of candy (empty)

- Fabric to cover the inside (same width and double the length of your bag) you can find a “fat quarter” at Walmart for $1

- 18 in Zipper

- Thread

The Library will be collecting items such as bags, fabric, interfacing, and vinyl to have plenty of supplies so don’t worry if you fall short!
