Hubbard Friends of the Library

|
Friends of the library are...
Men, Women, Young Adults, Children or Families who want to promote interest in and appreciation of the Hubbard Public Library.
We do this by
- Conducting 1 book sale a year with the proceeds benefiting the library.
- Purchasing book bags for sale to library patrons to help protect library materials from the weather.
- Purchasing library equipment and furniture, including a computer and printer for children's room, a flatscreen monitor to advertise library events and services, a People Counter, and 2 upholstered chairs for the adult reading room.
- Providing funds for the Adult Reading Program, Tween Programs and other Library programs.
- Sponsoring two online databases: BookFlix, a reading adventure for children and the Small Engine Repair Reference Center for adults.
The Friends sponsor one major book sale a year. The 2017 book sale will be held the first week of October. A small continuous Book Sale is on display daily near the Circulation Desk during library hours. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
