HCIA - Our Purpose
The goal of our group is to witness to God's love in Jesus Christ by
- providing opportunities for ecumenical worship
- responding in tangible ways to the physical, social and spiritual needs of the people in Hubbard City and Hubbard Township and related areas, and
- developing experiences for personal and spiritual growth and for education in Christian living
We focus on needs that can be more effectively met by cooperative action than by individual congregations.

Salvation Army
- Community Welfare Outreach Program
- We have re-opened a local Salvation Army Service unit in the community of Hubbard.
This unit would not be in competition with other local service organizations (HCIA, Kiwanis, American Red Cross, etc)
but would provide limited services to Hubbard citizens in zip code 44425. This service would attempt to help
individuals in areas not normally managed by other organizations.
- Some examples of these services are: prescriptions, partial assistance with utility payments, emergency dental, and other specialized needs.
- We are looking for good caring Christians who have the time, compassion and the means to help
others but can make a rational judgment in the face of an emotional crisis. Our goal is to have a
member from each church in the 44425 zip code area represented on our Board of Administrators.
